Munich: Shots in the West End – police send SEK – Munich

Shots fired in an inner courtyard on Munich’s Westendstrasse triggered a large-scale police operation on Tuesday afternoon. After an emergency call, more than ten patrols and special forces were sent. A 43-year-old and a 32-year-old left a suspicious apartment at around 11:40 a.m., which was then searched. Police found a pistol and ammunition in the bedroom.

The investigation revealed that the 32-year-old had shot the gun out of the window. Both people were taken to a police station. The 32-year-old was reported for violations of the weapons law. According to the police, the 43-year-old was taken into custody for aggressive behavior. Nobody was injured during the operation.
