As happy as the reunion with a casual acquaintance was for a 41-year-old Munich woman, the fact that she was missing her cell phone after the encounter on Monday afternoon was equally unpleasant. However, the woman only noticed this when she was questioned by police officers.
The officers were informed by a passerby around 4:30 p.m. that two people were having sex in public on the mezzanine on Sendlinger-Tor-Platz, at the entrance to Nußbaumstrasse. When the emergency services arrived, only the 41-year-old was present. To further clarify the matter, she was taken to a city center inspection and questioned there.
While the officers recorded that the woman had an alcohol level of two per thousand, the 41-year-old discovered that her cell phone had probably been stolen during or after consensual sex with her casual acquaintance. The police are now investigating charges of theft and causing a public nuisance.
