After the arson at a construction site belonging to the Munich Transport Company (MVG) early on Friday morning, the state security and the public prosecutor’s office are investigating. There is suspicion that it could have been an extremist attack. The investigation group (EG) “Raute” was founded at the Munich police headquarters and is now investigating 17 similar cases. The total damage caused by the alleged series of attacks runs into the millions.
