Munich: S-Bahn inspectors deceive employers and report false fare evaders – Munich

Six men and women systematically cheat on their working hours and cover for each other. So that it is not noticed that their “catch rate” is falling, they come up with fantasy names – or give names of innocent people.

A prison inmate was astonished by this post: the letter said that he was traveling on the S-Bahn without a valid ticket and was paying a fine. The only catch was that he was in prison at the time of the alleged crime. As a result of this coincidence, a well-organized gang of six S-Bahn inspectors was exposed who cheated their bosses when recording their working hours, sometimes didn’t show up for work at all and still billed them. In order not to attract attention due to low “catch rates”, they typed imaginary personal details into their devices or wrongly accused notorious fare evaders they knew.
