The name Rosalie and Wanda is still a bit confusing. In fact, it is the Munich musician and singer Rosalie Eberle who is behind it. And when she performs as a trio with Réne Haderer on double bass and Manfred Mildenberger on drums and keyboards, as she did on May 10th at the Milla, the confusion is even greater.
But let’s get to the music, which since the release of the debut album “Meister Hora” ten years ago has moved in a very complex way between jazz, pop, rock and folk. “Sleeping Dogs” was the name of the second album in 2015, three years ago Eberle was on the great debut of the indie pop band river heard. Otherwise it was a bit quiet around the studied jazz singer. The reason? A baby break. Now Eberle is back as Rosalie and Wanda.
