The watchdog “Spot” is supposed to watch out for the S-Bahn sidings so that no one smeares or damages the trains. The robot can’t bark, but it can film, send data – and, in an emergency, defend itself against an attacker.
This four-legged friend is a funny thing, the way he waddles towards you, the way he then faithfully puts his little head to the side and looks at you curiously from below with his shiny little eyes. But you shouldn’t try to pat him or caress him, because if you get close he will sound the alarm like a guard dog.
