A 42-year-old man from Munich threatened an acquaintance twice with a knife on Saturday in order to get money from him. According to the police, the 52-year-old victim first met the suspected blackmailer on the tram from Silberhornstrasse towards Rosenheimer Platz. There he tried to pull the wallet out of his pocket as he stood in the vehicle leaning on his two crutches.
The victim fell, but was able to keep his wallet and sat at the back of the tram. According to the police, the 42-year-old man followed his acquaintance there and is said to have held out a knife with a ten-centimeter-long blade. According to the report, he was persuaded to put the knife away.
When the two met again shortly afterwards, the robbery attempt was said to have been repeated. Like the first time, the 42-year-old man is said to have pulled out the knife.
