Munich: renovation of the Deutsches Museum – no more cost increases – Munich

Henrik Häcker came to the Deutsches Museum to get a grip on the cost explosion in the renovation. Now he gives a guarantee that it will stay at 750 million euros and explains why that is not such a huge amount.

Henrik Häcker is the man who should get the renovation costs of the Deutsches Museum under control. The graduate in business administration, born in 1963, worked in a managerial position at Messe Stuttgart, then managing director of the Salzburg Exhibition Center. In both places he was dealing with major construction projects. He then headed the König-Pilsener-Arena, one of the largest concert halls in the Ruhr area, before he was brought to the Deutsches Museum in the summer of 2020 to assist General Director Wolfgang Heckl as commercial director in a dual position.
