Fake police officers use perfidious tricks to rob elderly senior citizens of more than 300,000 euros. A gang member who collects the sometimes large amounts admits his complicity in the regional court.
Szymon W. is 39 years old, worked in the construction industry in Great Britain for a long time, even founded his own company and, after selling it, was about to start a career as a foreign exchange trader. At the end of last year, however, W. went astray, which is why he now has to answer before the Munich II Regional Court. According to the indictment, he is said to have worked for a gang operating from Poland, which used perfidious tricks to frighten people over the phone – including in Munich.
