Munich: reading in the bookstore Lehmkuhl – Munich

It’s porcini and chanterelle time again. But the mushroom season is not only in full swing in the forest, the readings by Michael Stauffer and Peter Weber in the Lehmkuhl bookstore on September 13th are also about mushrooms. As part of the 25th anniversary of the international artists’ house at Villa Concordia in Bamberg, numerous cultural events by and with former and current scholarship holders will take place on site, but a double reading is also planned in Munich.

The Swiss authors are part of the 2012/13 German-Swiss scholarship holders. Every year, the Villa Concordia offers several artists a working grant in the villa with the Free State. In Munich, Stauffer presents his most recent work, “Glückspilzbank”, Weber reads from his work “Mushroom Box” and previously unpublished texts. The evening will be moderated by the director of the Künstlerhaus, Nora Gomringer.

Michael Stauffer and Peter Weber, Sept. 13, 7:30 p.m., Lehmkuhl bookstore, Leopoldstr. 45, lehmkuhl.buchhandlung.de
