The protests continue: The Bayern2Freunde are calling for a rally against the BR’s planned reforms and cuts in the cultural program from April – this Thursday, February 8th, from five to 12 to 1 p.m., in front of the Munich Radio station at Rundfunkplatz 1.
Announced speakers include the Munich Kammerspiel director Barbara Mundel, the writer Dagmar Leupold, the publisher Antje Kunstmann and the long-time CH Beck editor Detlef Felken, the Lehmkuhl bookseller Michael Lemling and the actors Sibylle Canonica and Stefan Wilkening. Music will be contributed by Monika Hafner and Florian Burgmayr, among others, tractors will also make a proper noise, and the Lenten preacher Father Paetz will lecture the BR and the broadcasting councils.
