Munich prison hospital: suspected putschist on hunger strike – Munich

“Shut up,” exasperated inmates of Munich’s Stadelheim correctional facility are said to have shouted over the prison walls on Sunday, observers of the scene unanimously report. The trigger for the resentment was a rally of around 80 people from the spectrum of conspiracy ideology in front of the prison gates. They wanted to show their solidarity with one of the inmates – former elite soldier Maximilian E.

Federal prosecutors consider E. to be a member of a terrorist organization made up of Reich citizens and right-wing extremists who are said to have planned an armed putsch in Germany. He was arrested near Perugia (Italy) in December and extradited to Germany in February. According to his lawyer, E. has not eaten or drunk since April 18. He only rinses his mouth “with water and juices,” says Ralf Dalla Fini.

With the hunger strike, E. wants to force his release – or death in prison. His lawyer says ambiguously: “Mr. E. would like to put an end to his suffering.” According to Dalla Finis, the Federal Court of Justice has decided that E. may be force-fed against his will in an emergency.

“His level of suffering goes well beyond what many prisoners on remand feel while being deprived of their freedom,” says Dalla Fini about his client, who was brought from the Landshut district hospital to the Munich prison hospital last week. “He’s suffering massively from his detention.”

The inmate will not comment on the allegations

E. is attributed to the military arm of the group around a Thuringian nobleman. These gunmen should have stormed the Bundestag on day X “with the aim of arresting members of the government and members of parliament and taking them away in handcuffs”. The killing of people was also accepted with approval, one said Decision of the Federal Court of Justice in March.

According to his defense attorney, E. will not comment on the allegations. Half an hour before his arrest in Italy, he had said on Telegram: “Everything will change soon: the previous public prosecutors and judges as well as the responsible heads of the health authorities and their supervisors will soon find themselves in the dock in Nuremberg 2.0.”

A group from the Munich pandemic denier scene had called for a solidarity rally on Sunday. Speakers expressed anti-Semitic and historical revisionist ideas in their contributions. A scene video blogger filmed himself threatening a journalist and making the gesture of biting his head off.
