A Munich police officer was only able to save himself from a car speeding towards him by jumping sideways. According to the police, the 48-year-old noticed a car parked in the courtyard moat on Tuesday evening. Since the driver did not comply with the request to drive away, he wanted to see the driver’s license. The man then drove away in the direction of Dienerstrasse. Even then, the officer had to dodge to avoid being hit by the rear of the vehicle.
When the driver turned at Dienerstraße, the officer wanted to stop him standing in the middle of the lane. But instead of stopping, the driver accelerated and drove straight towards him with the tires spinning. The only thing left was to jump to the side. However, he managed to photograph the car and license plate. The police are now investigating dangerous interference in road traffic.
