In the murder case of the 49-year-old man, who was found dead on November 5th in his one-room apartment on Leonrodstrasse in Neuhausen, the criminal police have now set up an investigation team, the “EG Kristian”. She has also started a poster campaign asking witnesses to help. Stephan Beer, the head of the homicide squad, announced on Wednesday that only two reports had been received from the population. In order to receive more tips that lead to the clarification of the crime or the apprehension of the perpetrator, a reward of 5000 euros is now available.
According to Beer, around a dozen officers are currently following more than 40 leads. So far, intensive investigations have been carried out around the man who was last unemployed. In order to reconstruct what happened, a 3-D image of the crime scene was created. The police have now narrowed down the period of the crime somewhat: The victim was last seen alive on October 20; originally there was talk of the 17th. Beer did not give details of the weapon or cause of death. The man was said to have been killed by “external violence against the upper body”.
