According to the fire brigade, six people were slightly injured in a dispute with pepper spray in a subway in Maxvorstadt. A police spokesman was initially unable to provide any information on the background to the argument on Friday morning.
As reported by the Munich professional fire brigade, a 58-year-old got the irritant spray in his eyes on Thursday, and other passengers also complained about irritated airways. Several ambulances, firefighters and the police were on duty at the Stiglmaierplatz underground station.
According to the fire department, the 58-year-old was taken to a hospital, the other injured passengers who complained of respiratory irritation were treated on site.
After the fire brigade had carried out measurements on the platform and no more pollutants could be detected, the underground station at Stiglmaierplatz was released again after a short time.
