The Obermenzing police report an attempted “apartment burglary with a firearm”. On Sunday around 2:30 a.m., three people tampered with the windows of an apartment building in the area of Menterstrasse, Lindpaintnerstrasse, Schrämelstrasse and Meyerbeerstrasse. An apartment owner noticed this. One of the burglars threatened him with a weapon, and the threatened person fired warning shots from his legal weapon responds.
The perpetrators fled, two of them on their bikes. During the immediate search, the police stopped a cyclist with headphones only with a warning shot, but he had nothing to do with the crime.
The police are now looking for witnesses (telephone 089/2910-0): Perpetrator with weapon, 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall, black hair, slim, black jacket with hood, jeans; second perpetrator, same height, black hoodie hood, slightly thicker; Third perpetrator 1.70 to 175 meters tall, dressed completely in black, winter balaclava.
