A 72-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment in Obermenzing last Monday. Based on the injuries found, the police assume that she was killed. Traces of blunt violence, such as blows with a fist or an object, as well as injuries that must have been caused by a sharp object were recorded on her body.
The homicide commission has therefore taken over the investigation and arranged for an extensive investigation of evidence in order to reconstruct the course of events and thus come across possible motives and suspects. So far, however, the background is still completely unclear.
A resident of the house had initially notified the ambulance service at around 3:15 p.m. on Monday afternoon when he discovered the lifeless widow lying in her apartment. The emergency doctor who was called could only determine her death.
