Munich: More than 2000 households receive a subsidy from the heat fund – Munich

Since January 16, more than 2,000 low-income Munich households have received support from Stadtwerke München’s heat fund. In total, more than 2.3 million euros have been approved from the fund and 1.9 million euros have been paid out.

Mayor Verena Dietl (SPD) was particularly pleased that even more people have been able to receive the grant since April 1st. Because the city council has raised the income limits for voluntary services in the state capital of Munich. For a one-person household, it is now 1,660 euros instead of the previous 1,540 net. Information on the Heat Fund is available at www.waermefonds.de or by calling the Diakonie energy advice hotline on 126991-5150, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
