Munich: Memory of Holocaust survivor Solly Ganor – Munich

November 9th marks the 85th anniversary of the brutal acts of violence against Jews by the National Socialist regime during Kristallnacht. On this day, the actor Thomas Darchinger remembers the story of his now deceased friend, the Holocaust survivor Solly Ganor, with the live radio play “The Other Life”.

Accompanied by the Ukrainian State Orchestra from Lviv, Darchinger makes Ganor’s tragic autobiography tangible and invites people to reflect together on the injustice that has been committed. The reading will open with a speech by psychologist Louis Lewitan in the Carl Orff Hall and will take place a second time in the evening with the lighting design by video artist Gene Aichner under the Brudermühl Bridge.

Live radio play “The Other Life”, November 9th, 12 p.m. in the Carl Orff Hall, Fat Cat, Rosenheimer Straße 5, and 7 p.m. under the Brudermühlbrücke, www.dasandereleben.de, admission free
