A 76-year-old woman was injured in an accident on Sonnenstrasse on Friday afternoon. She got off a bus that was heading towards the main station. Because of a construction site, the bus did not stop at the bus stop, but a few meters in front of it directly on the cycle path.
A cyclist approached at a brisk pace. Although he shouted “Attenzione” (i.e. “Warning!”) three times as a warning, he did not reduce his speed and finally brushed against the woman. She fell and injured herself, so she had to be taken to the hospital. According to the police, the cyclist just kept going. He is now wanted.
