Munich: Masked people rob jewelry store – Munich

During a robbery at a jewelry store on Schwanthalerstrasse early Tuesday evening, two perpetrators stole a whole bag full of jewelry. The value of the loot has not yet been determined. According to police, the men entered the store around 5:45 p.m., both wearing motorcycle helmets to cover their heads. One of the two immediately attacked the 21-year-old store owner by spraying pepper spray into his face, while the other shoveled the window display into a bag.

A neighbor became aware of the attack. When the robbers noticed him, they fled on a black motorcycle. Although the police sent more than 20 patrols to search for them, the perpetrators were able to escape.

The perpetrator with the pepper spray is described as being around 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall; He was dressed entirely in black and spoke German without an accent. His accomplice was about the same size and the bag in which the loot was transported was from Nike.
