The Maria Einsiedel natural pool is scheduled to reopen this Wednesday. “It starts regularly at 10 a.m.,” said Stadtwerke München (SWM) on Tuesday. The outdoor pool in Thalkirchen had to close temporarily on July 15, almost a month ago, after measurements had shown an increased germ load in the pool water. The water was then cleaned, also with the support of external experts. The use of chemicals is prohibited in the natural pool, the pools are biologically cleaned. Now “aquatic biology” has “established itself” again, according to the SWM. The results of the daily water samples have improved sustainably and are now well below the limit value.
