Opponents of abortion undertook a so-called “March for Life” in Munich on Saturday. The police gave the number of participants with up to 3900. 370 emergency services secured the events between Odeonsplatz and Königsplatz. According to their own statements, the officials prevented a blockade of the assembly train and further disruptive actions.
The “Alliance for Sexual Self-Determination Munich” had called for a counter-rally, which the police said 100 people attended. The march took place in Munich for the third time and was organized by the association “Stimme der Stillen”, which was founded three years ago.
