In a dispute over a parking space, a 49-year-old man from Giesinger smashed almost all the windows on his opponent’s car with a crowbar. The incident happened on Monday morning on Arminiusstrasse. As reported by the police, the man had previously placed a bucket as a placeholder in a parking lot, which a 61-year-old was driving to with his Skoda.
The two men first exchanged verbal rudeness, then the older one got out, put the bucket aside and parked. This angered the younger man so much that he came back shortly afterwards with a crowbar in his hand and smashed all the side windows and the rear window of the car in the driver’s absence. The damage is at least 1500 euros. Residents watched the rampage and called the police. The officers seized the crime tool.
