Probably due to carelessness and apparently under the influence of drugs, a 54-year-old fell on the tracks at the Großhadern subway station on Thursday night and was seriously injured. According to the police, he made a phone call on the platform before he fell onto the platform. There he lay unconscious for minutes, but then woke up and walked around the track area.
When a subway train approached, he jumped into the niche of the shelter under the platform in good time. The subway driver was able to brake so that the train did not catch the man. However, he suffered serious internal injuries, fractures and a head laceration as a result of the fall. The subway service between Großhadern and Klinikum Großhadern was interrupted from 11 p.m. until around midnight. The traffic police are investigating a dangerous intervention in rail traffic.
