A man was found last Thursday morning in a house entrance in Munich’s Bahnhofsviertel with severe head injuries. According to police, the man remains in a coma. The investigators cannot rule out that he was the victim of an act of violence.
An employee discovered the 36-year-old in the entrance to an apartment building in the Landwehrstrasse/Goethestrasse area. He had an injury to the back of his head that was bleeding profusely. She then immediately called the emergency services and the 36-year-old was taken to a hospital.
Police say it’s unclear how the injuries occurred. Commissariat 24 (bodily harm) of the Munich criminal police has started the investigation and is looking for possible witnesses: Anyone who made observations in the night of August 24 in the area of Landwehr-, Goethe- and Paul-Heyse-Straße that are related to this incident should call 089/2910-0.
