While trying to stop his rolling car, a pensioner in his 80s was trapped between his vehicle and a parked car. The serious accident occurred on Monday evening in Schwabing.
According to the police on Tuesday, his wife’s car no longer started, which is why the pensioner had to give him jump-start help. To do this, he initially parked his car on the sidewalk parallel to his wife’s car. As the man got out, his vehicle rolled forward on the slightly sloping sidewalk toward another parked car.
When he tried to stop the vehicle, the pensioner was trapped between both cars. After police officers and passers-by pulled the vehicles apart and freed the man, the seriously injured man, who had become unconscious, had to be resuscitated at the scene of the accident before he was taken to hospital by the emergency doctor.
