Villa Stuck will soon be renovated and will then be closed for at least a year. However, the closure of the house does not happen without a hitch. Rather, it is celebrated with a lively “finale”, similar to the Munich City Museum. “Last Exit Villa Stucco” is the name of the program, which runs from February 23rd to March 3rd and consists of various mini-events.
The “Toy Tonics Pop Up Gallery” starts on February 23rd and 24th. Toy Tonics is a Berlin indie label, which is known for its live jams. Villa Stuck will present photos, posters, designs, illustrations, artwork and installations from more than 30 artists. The opening is on Friday at 7 p.m., the party is at 11 p.m. where, among others, COEO, Kapote and the popular actor Lars Eidinger perform (tickets via de.ra.co/events). On Saturday the exhibition is open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
