Minjae Lee and Lea Vajda have won the advancement award for young art from Kunstclub13 in cooperation with Platform. Both receive 3000 euros each. Charlotte Giacobbi receives the audience award, which is endowed with 1000 euros. The “degree of artistic maturity” with which Lea Vajda transforms everyday objects or archive material into expansive installations convinced the jury. She praised Minjae Lee for “creating an impressive psychograph of a society tormented by fears”. On May 19, Minjae Lee will lead a live performance through his exhibition at Platform, Kistlerhofstraße 70. The exhibition of all nominees can be seen until June 10th.
