A knife stab in the buttocks of a man triggered a major police operation with up to 30 officers near Munich’s Palace of Justice at the main train station on Monday evening. The criminal police are now searching for the suspected perpetrator and his accomplice.
Reports of the stabbing reached the police around 7:30 p.m. On Prielmayerstrasse, emergency services encountered a 24-year-old from Munich who had a bleeding wound in his buttocks area and his 20-year-old companion. The 24-year-old said he got into an argument with two men when one of the perpetrators suddenly stabbed them with a folding knife. His companion was also attacked with pepper spray.
The 24-year-old victim had to be taken to a hospital. Commissariat 24 has started the investigation. The perpetrators are said to be around 25 years old. One of them was wearing a burgundy jacket. The police are accepting information on 089/29100.
