The long-established company, which started out as a screw dealer 146 years ago, is now one of the leading wholesalers for tool and fastening technology with headquarters in Unterschleißheim and employs around 1,000 people at 19 locations worldwide. Keller & Kalmbach primarily supplies customers in the automotive industry, mechanical and plant engineering, railway technology and the agricultural industry. It is part of the company philosophy to be socially committed and to support people in need.
At the SZ relief organization, Seidl said, he knew that the money was in good hands because it actually went where it was needed. It is important that the donation goes to those in need without deduction of administrative costs, because Süddeutsche Verlag bears all costs of the aid campaign.
