Munich: Keller & Kalmbach supports SZ Advent calendar with donation – Munich

The family business Keller & Kalmbach, founded in Munich in 1878, has been supporting the “Advent Calendar for Good Works” for more than 15 years South German newspaper“. Whenever Florian Seidl, chairman of the supervisory board of Keller & Kalmbach, comes personally to the SZ high-rise, he has a check with him for a five-figure amount. To mark the 75th anniversary of the SZ relief organization this Sunday with a matinee will be celebrated in the Kammerspiele, Seidl, himself a long-time SZ reader, handed the managing Advent calendar board member Sandra Geisler a check for 20,000 euros. She thanked him for the good tradition.

The long-established company, which started out as a screw dealer 146 years ago, is now one of the leading wholesalers for tool and fastening technology with headquarters in Unterschleißheim and employs around 1,000 people at 19 locations worldwide. Keller & Kalmbach primarily supplies customers in the automotive industry, mechanical and plant engineering, railway technology and the agricultural industry. It is part of the company philosophy to be socially committed and to support people in need.

At the SZ relief organization, Seidl said, he knew that the money was in good hands because it actually went where it was needed. It is important that the donation goes to those in need without deduction of administrative costs, because Süddeutsche Verlag bears all costs of the aid campaign. With its reports in the Munich section and the district editions, the SZ repeatedly draws attention to the hardship that also exists in the wealthy city of Munich and the surrounding area.
