The Wiesn landlady Arabella Schörghuber didn’t want her Paulaner marquee to further promote climate change. Now it should be climate neutral. A conversation about organic pretzels, vegan currywurst and CO2 compensation.

The last Oktoberfest took place in 2019. At that time, the Paulaner marquee, with almost 8,600 seats one of the largest at the Wiesn, was still managed by Arabella Schörghuber and her ex-husband Peter Pongratz. In the meantime she is the sole landlady and she has not only planned but also already implemented some changes. The first of these was: The marquee should not also promote climate change. And this first goal has now been achieved. A conversation with the landlady about what you imagine a climate-neutral beer tent to be like.
