Munich: ICE pelted with gravel – Munich

An ICE train from Deutsche Bahn was probably thrown with gravel shortly after Pasing. Three windows cracked and a total of seven cars were damaged. No one was injured, and the perpetrator(s) are unknown. As the federal police announced on Thursday, the ICE is affected, which was supposed to drive from Munich to Kiel on Wednesday night. When the train left Pasing, gravel stones were probably thrown at it at around 12:10 a.m. A police spokeswoman says this happened about one to two kilometers after Pasing. A passenger noticed it, but only pointed out the damage to the train staff when they stopped in Augsburg. Until then, the ICE had driven at a normal speed. In Augsburg, the passengers had to change to a replacement train. The police are looking for witnesses who observed something suspicious in the Pasing train station area on Wednesday night.
