Until the beginning of the year, according to their own perception, they were faced with an unstoppable green-pink future: their “Katrin”, as everyone in the party calls the second mayor Katrin Haben Schaden, would continue to scurry through the town hall at a hellish pace and make public appearances while the mayor Dieter Reiter (SPD) is increasingly preparing for retirement.
