On February 3, 1921, Adolf Hitler gave a speech in the Circus Krone building in Munich. At that time, the former World War II private was the chief agitator of the NSDAP, a small ethnic and anti-Semitic party. Hitler’s eloquence is already famous in the relevant circles, but he is by no means the undisputed leader of the völkisch-nationalist forces that shaped the political climate in Munich in the early 1920s.
