There was a fire in the Nymphenburg schools on Saturday night. According to the fire department, the damage was in the six-figure range. Nobody got hurt. When the fire brigade arrived at the private school on Sadelerstrasse at around 1:34 a.m., thick smoke was already coming from the school auditorium. A respiratory protection team searched the building for the source of the fire and found it in a technical room next to the auditorium.

By the time the fire was out, the smoke had already spread through the ground floor and first floor. As a result, large parts of the school building were covered with soot; A spokesman could not say on Saturday whether the consequences of the fire will also have an impact on the start of school after the Pentecost holidays.

The building had to be smoked with three high-performance fans. It is still unclear what caused the fire. The police are investigating.
