The Munich Heat Fund will continue to help those in need to cope with the persistently high energy prices in the coming year. Anyone who needs support can receive a grant of 700 euros once a year; For each additional member in the household there is an additional 300 euros. The Munich municipal utilities have endowed the fund with a total of 20 million euros. Since the heating fund was launched in January 2023, more than 6.7 million euros have been approved for more than 5,400 households. The money helped 15,700 Munich residents from all age groups, especially families with children and young people.
