Four construction site vehicles caught fire in Haidhausen on Thursday night. The excavator as well as two wheel loaders and a Unimog were completely destroyed in the fire. According to the fire department, there was material damage in the high six-figure range.
Several people who noticed the fire on Max-Planck-Strasse around four o’clock in the morning alerted the fire department. When they arrived, the four vehicles were already completely on fire. The fire brigade’s operation lasted more than two and a half hours. The road was closed during this time. The police are now investigating the cause of the fire.
