Munich: Guided tours through the Derzbachhof to the Forstenrieder village festival – Munich

This year, the Forstenrieder village festival falls on the day of the open monument and that has an attractive effect on the program. Guided tours by the Euroboden company and its architects through the newly renovated Derzbachhof on Forstenrieder Allee 179 and a walk to the former labor camp on the Achterlacke in Forstenrieder Park are planned for Sunday, September 11, at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ernst Ziegler from the Historical Association of Forstenried is the leader here. Meeting point is at 2 p.m. at Vinzenz-Schüpfer-Straße 84.

Saturday, September 10th is all about entertainment. Between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. there is a rock’n’roll show by TSV Forstenried and Punch and Judy shows in the Circus Galliano at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on both days. There is also a children’s carousel and DJ Steven Hölscher plays “traditional folk music”. The village festival is largely organized by the Association of Friends of the Forstenried town centre. Since, according to the official definition, it is a “measure to promote culture and identification in the district”, District Committee 19 provides a subsidy.
