How does it feel to travel in a carriage? Like the ride on the suspension railway? And how do speed and road surface influence traffic noise? The traffic center at Bavariapark lets its visitors experience it.
A tall, slim man, dressed entirely in black, stands in front of a massive, green-painted steam locomotive and looks up. If he didn’t have an ID clipped to his belt, he might be mistaken for a visitor. But the man in black is a research assistant at the traffic center. His name is Franz Zwintzscher. Several groups walk past him. Sometimes it’s adults with children, sometimes it’s an older couple, sometimes parents push their offspring through the exhibition in a stroller. Children are scurrying around the exhibits and you can often hear exclamations like “Wow” or “Oha”.
