Munich: Firefighter Bruno saves dog Bruno – Munich

A Labrador crossbreed named Bruno fell into a hole on a Munich construction site – and was rescued by the fire department under the group leader of the same name. The male dog had initially run through a hole in a construction fence onto a construction site while out for a walk late Friday evening, the fire department announced on Saturday. During a tour of discovery on the concrete ceiling of the basement, he overlooked an opening about three meters deep in the dark and fell into it.

Because the shaft was filled with water to a height of around 50 centimeters, the dog was apparently not injured in the fall. However, according to the information, there were no stairs and rescue via a ladder was not possible – Bruno weighs around 40 kilograms. The fire department finally used a crane to lift the dog out of the basement in a cage in which he was leashed with his harness. The visibly battered male dog was then handed over to his family. The fire department then secured the construction site as a precaution.
