Munich: fire brigade saves young foxes from light shaft – Munich

Firefighters rescued two young foxes in the Solln district of Munich who got caught in the light shaft of a building shell. As the fire brigade announced on Tuesday, construction workers discovered the foxes when they heard whimpering and whimpering from the light shaft. The fire brigade freed the animals and handed them over to an animal shelter.

In order to rescue the foxes from a depth of around two meters, the fire brigade’s rescue workers went into the basement of the building shell, took the animals out of the shaft through a basement window and placed them in an animal collection box. According to the fire brigade, the young foxes were finally accommodated in an animal shelter, where they are examined and after about three days of quarantine are to be integrated with the other foxes that already live there.
