Firefighters freed a woman’s finger from a hand blender in Munich. The 36-year-old wanted to clean the device on Tuesday evening when she accidentally turned on the mixer and got her index finger stuck in it, the fire department said on Wednesday.
Since she couldn’t free her finger from the blender on her own, she went to an emergency room. However, the hospital staff had to call the fire department for help to save the woman from her situation.
After the hand blender was dismantled and, among other things, the drive shaft was cut, the 36-year-old’s finger was free again. The fire department did not provide any information about the woman’s health.
