Of course there is cake, that’s part of birthdays. Only he offers them in the cinema, after all he is a filmmaker. Marcus H. Rosenmüller loves luscious cakes with cream, but he rarely eats them: This is also the case in “Neue Stories vom Pumuckl”, where a Black Forest cherry flies through the living room right in the first episode. Rosenmüller’s continuation of the legendary children’s series from the eighties had its world premiere a few weeks ago at the Munich Film Festival, and RTL will be showing it at the end of the year. But there is already something to celebrate: Marcus H. Rosenmüller will be 50 years old on July 21st.
