Munich: Feasibility study designates five realizable cycle highways – Munich

Get the bike out of the basement in the morning and cycle to work at a sporty pace? Without having to consider braking traffic lights, crossing pedestrians and parking cars? In Munich, this should become a reality in the not too distant future. The urban mobility department is planning cycle expressways together with the districts on five routes that connect the city with the surrounding area. The feasibility of these routes was examined in feasibility studies, and the results are now available. The routes recommended by the mobility department lead from the Altstadtring to Markt Schwaben, Dachau, Starnberg, Oberhaching and Fürstenfeldbruck.
