Damage of around 300,000 euros was caused by a fire in two vehicles at a construction site in Johanneskirchen. An excavator and a truck were completely burned out early Friday morning, the police said. No one was injured in the fire.
Arson cannot currently be ruled out, a police spokesman said on Friday. Especially since there were two vehicles, an investigation must also be carried out in this direction. The police also examined a possible connection to the alleged arson attack on a geothermal energy construction site in October. The Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office investigated, among other things, suspicions of extremism. This suspicion cannot be ruled out in the fire on Friday.
