Munich: Drunk, without a driver’s license – police pull school bus drivers out of traffic – Munich

During a joint routine check by the district administration department and traffic police, two school bus drivers were taken out of service this week. A 67-year-old woman had no permit to transport passengers, and a 53-year-old man was drunk. Both were checked at a school center on the Bavariaring.

The woman was initially checked on Tuesday when she arrived in a minibus to pick up children at around 3:30 p.m. Because it turned out that she doesn’t have a driver’s license to transport people, she is now being investigated for driving without a license. Her employer was reported because he let her drive without the appropriate driving license. Another transport home was organized for the waiting children. Administrative offenses were found in five of the six vehicles inspected.

Shortly before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, officers checked another company’s car in which eight children were sitting. They discovered that the child in the front passenger seat was not wearing a seat belt and another child was not wearing the required booster seat. They also smelled alcohol from the 53-year-old driver. A breath test showed 0.8 per mille. A fine was initiated against the man.
