Munich: Discussions and lectures about migration and human rights. – Munich

Persecuted, arrested and tortured. The Iranian writer Mohammad Reza Haj-Rostambeglou is one of many who has experienced incomprehensible suffering because of his protest against censorship. As a scholarship holder of the German “Writers in Exile” program, he will be speaking about human rights issues on October 25th in the Seidlvilla with his comrades in fate Anise Jafarimehr, Jiyar Jahan Fard and Mubeen Khishany. Poetry, prose and essays are also read.

Because of the flight and expulsion of countless people, the debate about the right to remain and asylum is increasingly moving to the forefront of political discourse. Escape researcher Judith Kohlenberger and author Franziska Grillmeier will discuss the implementation of a human integration policy on October 26th at the NS Documentation Center.

Paths to Freedom: Wed., October 25th, 7 p.m., Seidlvilla; Escape: Trauma – Way Out – Chance?, Thursday, October 26th, 7 p.m., NS Documentation Center Munich
