Investigations against Munich journalism professor: Because of his commitment to the “Querdenker” newspaper Democratic Resistance the state prosecutor’s office initiated disciplinary proceedings against Michael Meyen, chair holder at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU). The authority, which investigates possible breaches of service law by officials, communicated this to the SZ at the request of the SZ. The LMU had previously handed over the process to the state prosecutor’s office after an investigation by the Bavarian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, which has now seen an opportunity to examine the Meyen case more closely.
