According to the prosecution, Srecko S. is said to have executed his wife in the bedroom. A first trial ended with an acquittal for the defendant. But now he is back in court – and doubts about his innocence are growing.
The scene has something of a déjà vu: Srecko S. takes a seat in the dock again and the prosecutor reads out to him the charge of murdering his wife Diana S. again. Again, while sobbing, Srecko S. describes how there was a struggle for the pistol in the bedroom and how the fatal shot was accidentally fired. In fact, the 64-year-old is now being tried at the Munich I Regional Court for the second time. And his statements in the courtroom raise questions.
